They began meetings at St. Giles Church and grew to 125 members in their first year.

Confederation Park Senior Citizens Centre now boasts over 900 members with a volunteer base of about 350 seniors. There are over 40 classes offered throughout the course of the year as well as numerous special events and seminars.
